I’ve been lucky enough to climb with Remy on Aconcagua during her quest for the Seven Summits. She made seemingly easy work of this mighty South American giant while always having a smile on her face and helping her teammates through the difficult times. She is someone that loves where she is and lives each moment to the fullest, especially while in the mountains. Determination and grit are seemingly afterthoughts to her- she’s too engrossed in enjoying the ride and accomplishing big goals. Remy epitomizes the adventurous spirit and does so with grace and ease. And always for a good cause. What an asset to have on any team.

I had the pleasure of having Remy speak at a charity fundraising event that I hosted, and I also had the opportunity to interview her for a company that I work for, for their YouTube content. Remy is a ray of sunshine and a great inspiration to all. I felt so honoured to be able to work with her and to hear her story. Her professionalism and thorough work ethic is something to be admired. My guests at the fundraising event were duly impressed with her moving talk and she was the highlight of the event! She is easy going and an absolute pleasure to work with! She is extremely well spoken, motivated and inspiring in all the best ways. I would highly recommend working with her – whether it be as a motivational speaker, coach, to host a workshop, collaborate with your brand or sponsor one of her high-altitude expeditions. Remy was exceptional – natural, engaging and truly inspiring. So much so that one of our members, who has been going through some difficult time mentally and financially, has suddenly had a turnaround and has become enthusiastic and energised – and he openly expresses and acknowledges this. Seriously – I kid you not! So, if the ‘Power of One’ adage is true – Remy has just reached a new summit and she has helped someone on their climb.

What I love most about Remy is her bravery & selflessness. She is never afraid to go after her dreams and meet her stiffest challenges. But the thing is she’s doing this not for herself… her motivation is always others. The #JustClimb campaign bears testament to this. Having raised several hundred thousand rand for our initiatives, Dlala Nje is lucky to have Remy boxing in our corner.

I had the pleasure of first meeting Remy when she did an extraordinary talk at a charity event I attended. She is so inspiring and has immense spirit and determination. It is difficult to sum it up, but she is a very special person and she speaks with such ease, grace and impact! She has enormous dreams and the grit and heart to achieve them.
